I just made a neck lanyard using your method with the plastic end. worked out great …so thanks for that man! ) I also took the plastic sheath for the 740 mora and cut off the belt loop extention and filed and sanded it real nice, making it look more like a neck knife sheath!

I normally do 13 wraps like a noose. That’s what this is just no neck in the loop its a knife or key chain.
